Since our founding in 2010, Shoes 4 the Shoeless has delivered brand-new gym shoes and socks to disadvantaged children within Southwest Ohio through our in-school delivery program. The need is still great, so our work continues.

It Starts Like Most Stories Out There
A few people recognized an overwhelming need and had to do something about it. Since then, countless volunteers and donors have stepped up to meet one of the biggest unmet health care needs for children in poverty.
Our shoes and socks bring relief, hope, encouragement, and comfort to local children in desperate need. With your help, we can make a difference!

In 2025, Shoes 4 The Shoeless served 21,000+ children with brand new shoes and socks. However, across our 21-county footprint, we estimate that 72,000 children are still in need.
That means we are currently reaching about 30% of the need.

🎅⛄☃GIRLS, GIFT BUYERS! This is the earliest we have ever gotten started on this Christmas project! The sign-up link has all the details you need to be part of this incredibly beautiful event. The girls live in a locked-down residential treatment center and have endured much and suffered greatly.Our annual Christmas party brings a little happiness into their lives.This will be the first of 5 opportunities. She told us her mom's feet always hurt, and then asked us if she could buy a pair of shoes for her.We said no.We said we would GiVE her a pair for her mom. She said we gave her shoes for her mom last year too.Every single week, at least one child works up the courage to ask us for shoes for their moms, dads, siblings, or grandparents. We never say no.In fact, we have a process specifically designed just for these situations.The families of the children we serve are NOT our target, but the children's hearts are. GET READY!!!It is almost time for our two special Christmas events. Each year we throw the biggest, best Christmas parties for two groups of children living in residential treatment facilities in the greater Miami Valley. These children come from all over Ohio and have suffered tremendously.We will need at least 36 gift buyers; most do this with a team.We will also need at least 30 bakers.Plus two very special teams of men and women to take the parties to the children.We'll share more details soon! These were two left shoes, three sizes apart. Both were missing insoles, filthy, and had holes in the soles. Neither shoe came close to fitting.These shoes were all he owned.
